Nowadays, weddings are more like a party, a social dinner or just a family evening. Sometimes they don't even invite a host. And if they are invited, they ask not to organize contests, collections of money and other things. But before.... as they say, and toastmaster good, and contests interesting? Let's remember these funny and somewhere not quite decent entertainment.
Pencil in a bottle
We have all seen, if not in person, then at least in a photo or video, how a solid man in a suit with a serious face conjures up a bottle. Is this it? Toastmaster calls several guests, tying a rope with a pen or pencil to their waist. An ordinary bottle is placed in front of them. The task of the guests is to get this pencil into the neck of the bottle without using their hands.
Burst the balloons
Sometimes this contest can still be seen in the resorts of Turkey or Egypt. Several couples (a man and a woman) are invited to the stage. They do not necessarily have to be husband and wife, it is even more interesting! Toastmaster in advance comes up with several positions in which the poor people need to burst the balloon without the help of hands or barbed objects. For example: bellies or backs with a run-up. And it happens that the woman stands with her back to the man. She bends over, leaning on a chair, and the man bursts the balloon against her.
Guess the bride on her knee
Several girls, including the bride herself, are invited. They sit on chairs and bare one knee. The groom is blindfolded, and he must use his sense of touch to guess the knee of his beloved.
Fruit eating
One of the most vulgar contests ever. Again men and women are called, not necessarily husband and wife. The men sit on chairs and hold a banana between their legs. As you may have already guessed, the women have to eat the banana without using their hands.
A first-born baby shower
A pleasant entertainment for the bride and groom and not so much for the guests. The newlyweds prepare props in advance. These can be mini-prams, boxes, envelopes or even onesies. The main thing is that they were pink and blue. Witnesses are invited and given the props. And then for a few minutes they run around the tables under the music and collect money from the guests. Those who are in favor of the girl put the bills in a pink envelope, those who are in favor of the boy - in a blue envelope.
Bring the stuff
The toastmaster invites a few guests and names an object that the guests must find in the hall and bring as quickly as possible. It can be anything: a fork, a candle, a shoe, socks? Whoever brought the last one is out of the game. And so on until there is only one winner.
Drunk relay race
If you don't want your guests to live to see the evening, ask the toastmaster to conduct this contest. Several guests, usually men, are divided into 2 teams. They stand on one side and a table with a shot glass, a bottle and an appetizer is placed on the other side. At a signal, the race begins. The first player pours the booze into the shot glass, the second player drinks, and the third player snacks. The team that empties the bottle first wins. Can you imagine the state they'll be in?
Yes, our ancestors loved to party hard at a wedding! But those times have passed, and now the wedding evening can be held more decent, stylish and measured!
